Practice Management

The deputy practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The deputy practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Reception

The efficient, fully trained and experienced reception staffs are happy to deal with your enquiries.  They form an integral part of the team.

Apart from reception duties they all have administrative duties as well.  This involves communicating with patients for chronic disease management, medication changes, etc at the doctor’s instructions.  They help us with maintaining our call and recall system and also with prompting patients when they are due for various checks, immunisations, urine and blood tests etc.

Please remember that if you need to be kept waiting or seemed to be asked one or two questions they are carrying out the practice policy which is aimed at making the practice run smoothly.

Please remember that if you are kept waiting it is usually due to an unexpected emergency.

Secretaries

Our secretaries undertake all administrative aspects of the Practice. They support the clinical staff in their roles and take responsibility for referrals, chasing pathology, sending reminders and presenting a positive front to the Practice.
